HOW TO ENTER

How to enter this Contest:

Entry with Qualifying Purchase (In-Store)

How to Qualify:

• Make a qualifying in-store purchase at any Fastek location during the Contest Period
• Purchases must be made between November 24, 2025 and December 19, 2025 at 12:00pm EST

Entry Limit: Maximum of FOUR (4) ballots per person per day (with a qualifying purchase of $1,000 or more). Only ONE (1) qualifying transaction per customer per day will be accepted for ballot purposes.

How to Submit:

• Physical Ballot: Complete the ballot slip provided at checkout with your name and phone number. Deposit the completed ballot into the official ballot box at the store location before December 19, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST.
• Digital Ballot: Scan the QR code provided at checkout. Complete the online entry form with your name, and phone number.

Purchase Requirements:

• Only in-store purchases qualify. Online, phone, and special orders do not qualify.
• Purchase amount calculated on final subtotal after all discounts and promotions are applied, but before applicable taxes (HST).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & RESTRICTIONS

General Entry Rules:

• All entries become the property of Fastek and will not be returned.
• Illegible, incomplete, damaged, or fraudulent entries will be void.
• For technical malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed electronic communications that may occur in the transmission of entries contact marketing@fastek.ca.

Fraudulent Entries:

• Fastek reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules.
• Use of automated entry devices, bots, or scripts is strictly prohibited.

Multiple Entries:

• Customers may earn multiple ballots with multiple qualifying purchases across different days during the Contest Period, subject to the daily limit of four (4) ballots per day (with a $1,000+ purchase).

Prize Restrictions:

• Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents permitted, except at Fastek’s sole discretion.
• Fastek reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
• Prize is not transferable and must be claimed by the winner in person.

DRAW & WINNER SELECTION

Draw Date: December 22, 2025

Draw Method: Random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

Draw Location: Fastek Head Office

Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification:

• Winner will be contacted by telephone using the phone number provided on their entry within 48 hours of the draw.
• If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within four (4) business days of the first attempt, or if the selected entrant is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the selected entrant will be disqualified and Fastek reserves the right to randomly select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
• Fastek will make up to three (3) attempts to contact the selected entrant before selecting an alternate winner.

SKILL-TESTING QUESTION REQUIREMENT

Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must:

1. Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance (administered by telephone, email, or in person at Fastek’s discretion).

Skill-Testing Question Example: The skill-testing question will be a mathematical equation requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Example: (12 + 8) × 3 – 15 ÷ 5 = ?

Failure to Comply: If the selected entrant fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, the selected entrant will be disqualified and Fastek will select an alternate winner.

PRIZE CLAIM & PICKUP

Prize Claim Process:

1. Winner will be notified by phone within 48 hours of the draw (December 22, 2025).
2. Winner must correctly answer the skill-testing question.
3. Winner must pick up the prize in person at a Fastek location before December 31, 2025.

Prize Pickup Requirements:

• Winner must present valid government-issued photo identification.
• Winner may send a representative to claim the prize on their behalf provided prior discussion and authorization with Fastek staff.

Forfeiture: If the winner fails to claim the prize by December 31, 2025, the prize will be forfeited and Fastek may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner or retain the prize.

PUBLICITY & CONSENT

By entering this Contest, each entrant:

• Grants Fastek the irrevocable right to use their name, city/town of residence, voice, photograph, likeness, and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
• Consents to the public announcement of their name as the winner on Fastek’s website, social media channels, and in-store signage.

Opt-Out: If you do not wish to grant publicity rights, do not enter this Contest.

Use of Winner Information:

• Winner’s first name, and city/town (ballot was submitted in) will be posted on Fastek’s website and social media.
• Example: “Congratulations to John from St. Catharines!”
• Winner may be invited to participate in a photo opportunity with the prize for promotional purposes.

PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION

Information Collected: At the time of entry, Fastek collects:

• Full legal name
• Phone number
• Purchase transaction details

Use of Information: Personal information is used solely for:

• Contest administration (entry processing, winner selection, winner notification)
• Verification of eligibility
• Prize fulfillment
• Compliance with legal requirements

No Marketing Use: Personal information collected through this Contest will NOT be added to Fastek’s marketing database or used for promotional emails unless you have separately opted in to Fastek’s marketing communications.

Data Retention: Entry information will be retained for six (6) months following the conclusion of the Contest (until June 22, 2026) and then securely destroyed.

LIABILITY RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION

By entering this Contest, each entrant agrees to:

1. Release and hold harmless Fastek, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with:
   • Participation in the Contest
   • Acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the prize
   • Any Contest-related activity

2. Indemnify Fastek against any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the entrant’s:
   • Breach of these Official Rules
   • Violation of any law or the rights of any third party
   • Misrepresentation of eligibility

Limitation of Liability: Fastek is not responsible for:

• Incorrect or inaccurate entry information
• Technical malfunctions of any kind (phone lines, network connections, computer systems)
• Unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process
• Lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Governing Law: This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this Contest shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Contest Modification or Termination: Fastek reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

• Cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
• Disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules.
• Modify these Official Rules at any time by posting revised rules at fastek.ca/contest.

Force Majeure: Fastek is not responsible for any failure to execute the Contest as planned due to reasons beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism
• Government restrictions or regulations
• Pandemics or public health emergencies
• Labor disputes or strikes
• Supplier failures or unavailability of the prize

In such event, Fastek may, at its discretion, award the prize by alternate means or cancel the Contest entirely.

Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between the entrant and Fastek regarding this Contest and supersede all prior communications or agreements.

DISQUALIFICATION

Grounds for Disqualification:

An entrant will be disqualified if they:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Fail to meet eligibility requirements
• Violate any provision of these Official Rules
• Engage in fraudulent activity or tampering
• Attempt to enter using automated means (bots, scripts)
• Fail to correctly answer the skill-testing question
• Fail to claim the prize within the specified time
• Submit more than the maximum number of allowed entries

Effect of Disqualification: Disqualified entrants forfeit all rights to the prize. Fastek may select an alternate winner at its discretion.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Public Announcement: The winner’s name (first name) and city/town will be announced:

• On Fastek’s website: fastek.ca
• On Fastek’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram)
• In-store at Fastek locations

Announcement Timing: Winner will be publicly announced within 7 days of successfully completing all winner verification requirements (skill-testing question).
